Hillary Clinton made history today as the first woman ever nominated to lead a major-party ticket into the fall campaign for president. She easily topped her sole rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, in a roll call vote of states at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. She will face Republican Donald Trump in the November election
